A WhatsApp proxy is a server or service that acts as an intermediary between a user’s device and the WhatsApp servers. When a user connects to WhatsApp through a proxy, their device sends requests to the proxy server, which then forwards those requests to the WhatsApp servers and returns the response back to the user’s device. How to enable whatsApp proxy
 
To enable a WhatsApp proxy on your device, you’ll need to follow these steps:
  1. Open WhatsApp on your device.

  2. Go to “Settings” and then “Chats.”

  3. Tap on “Chat Backup.”

  4. Select “Back Up Now” to back up your chats, if you haven’t done so already.

  5. Go to “Settings” and then “Storage and Data”

  6. Click Proxy

  7. Toggle on “Use Proxy”

  8. and enter the proxy server’s address and port number.

  9. Tap on “OK” to save the proxy settings.

  10. Exit the settings and try to connect to WhatsApp. Your connection should now be going through the proxy server.

It is important to note that using a proxy may affect the performance of the WhatsApp and also could be blocked by WhatsApp due to their policy.

Also Proxy is a community service so read the terms of use.  However use of chat has encryption so should not compromize how data travel over the wire.
